Amanda Rodriguez
Amanda is a Tax Accountant with TMDL, and has over 10 years’ experience within the industry. Amanda began her accounting career 2011 performing various bookkeeping responsibilities; she then shifted to the world of tax with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program in 2014, working her way up to the level of advanced tax preparer. Nearing the completion of her undergraduate degree, Amanda worked an internship in corporate accounting with a team that led headquarter research and reporting of various analyses in company’s financials to assist with decision making for management. At the completion of her internship, she entered the field of public accounting in her final year as an undergraduate in 2019. Since joining public accounting, she has gained experience in more full-service accounting while building on her individual tax preparation and accounting experience, including sales tax, business tax, tax planning, bookkeeping and payroll. Amanda has also renewed her Annual Filing Season Record of Completion with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) every year since 2020 and is currently working on obtaining her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.

Beyond TMDL
When not in the office, Amanda spends time with her family, friends, dogs, and two children, Sebastian, and Serenity. She loves finding events to enjoy together, the outdoors, and especially live music.
